MUSICAL INTEREST:
Fumi is a disc jockey (aka DJ) in training. His skills lay in his ability to mix music together in such a way that is pleasing to the ear yet fun to dance to and pleasing a crowd when preforming. Unsurprisingly along with the DJ gig he also remixes songs that won’t necessarily be played at a party or club but sure sound nice. He plays a synthesizer of course.
The reasoning behind Fumi attending the music academy was so that he could learn music theory and composing tactics to help him become a better music writer and or enhancing his remixing abilities.

STRENGTHS:
Musically inclined
Obviously, Fumi is good at being a disc jockey and remixing music. Preforming at parties is a breeze due to him being so outgoing and confident. He kind of thrives off the attention it brings and likes the positive feedback from audience members. When it comes to making the music himself Fumi works his butt off. Yeah the kid has talent but remixing isn’t slapping a bunch of noises together and hope it turns out good. To pull it off you have to know a lot about music theory and be up to date with every peaking song on the charts
Genius
Fumi not smart in the sense of knowing about string theory or solving math problems in a jiff but he’s the type of guy who can look at the way someone’s standing and say they’re having a bad day. His understanding of body language is almost uncanny in a sense; he can tell what kind of person someone is talking to on the phone by reading their body language or pick small movements of the eyes or hands to see if someone is lying. Oral interpretation is probably his strongest suit. He can dissect a sentence in a matter of seconds and use it against the person. With this skill, Fumi uses it in the worst way possible and pushes people’s buttons. Honestly, he just likes making people mad. It’s hilarious in his book and it’s just so easy. On top of stirring up innocent people, Fumi also likes to embarrass people whether is be by flirting with them or saying taboo things. Forcing a person’s face to become red over mere words or subtle actions is such a phenomenon in the lad’s head and he really can’t seem to get enough of it.
WEAKNESSES:
Apathetic
The only thing Fumi really cares about is himself. Never has the boy took other people’s feelings into consideration. Words he spats are blunt and meant to hurt. Growing up with several different siblings and him being the youngest gave him a hard shell of distrust and self-absorbency. Along with not caring about other people he really doesn’t care about a lot of things either, which could come off as laid back but he really lacks the sense of knowing what he should really care about. All in all Fumi only really cares about himself and his music. Anything other than that is pretty much useless in his eyes.
Lonely deep down
Fumioto J Hirota is a lonely guy at heart. He doesn’t have a supportive family nor does he really have any genuine friends. Sure he has his buds at school but they don’t have the type of relationship where he can tell them his problems or ask for advice, that would be just weird. To make up for the lack of human connection he just gets under strangers skins and watches them react. It’s sort of like a drug to him and distracts him from his reality. Of course he would rather die than tell someone that and he hasn’t yet realized how miserable he is himself yet.

Haikyuu! Kuroo
APPEARANCE:
GRADE LEVEL:
Underclassmen
CHARACTER INFO:
Out of five other children Fumioto was born the very last. His parents were sort of the unorganized type and about half their children were mistakes. His mom always seemed to be switching jobs and his father worked night shifts at a factory. Fumi was mostly raised by his siblings which really means that they fed him and told him when to go to bed. Unlike most families, the youngest child was not coddled and was more so thought of another inconvenience. Being young, the lad didn’t pick up the vibe and simply did things normal children did.
In kindergarten the boy experienced bulling for the first time. The kids would make fun of him for wearing the same outfit two days in a row or how dirty he was. But nobody ever taught him that he couldn’t wear the same shirt all week or that bathing was actually important. Elementary school was a very lonely time for him. He was surrounded by people but he just felt as if they were a river rushing past his little toes while he just stood there and watched. That’s where he picked up reading body language. With all the watching he was doing at home and school the lad had unconcisely learned how to interpret people’s body movements
Middle school was where Fumi really started to develop. After learning how to dress and take care of himself the boy actually got himself some buds. Although he found himself in the wrong crowd of boys. They were rude and just a bunch of pricks. And like most middle schoolers the boy conformed and turned into one of them. However, being mean back to the people who made fun of him in past school years was really a good feeling.
At the age of fourteen his eldest brother moved out of the house to go to college and become a nurse. Behind him he left an old hobby behind. Disc Jockeying. Apparently to save for tuition his brother did a few performances in town with some mediocre remixes. At first Fumi just messed around with the synthesizer his brother left behind very gradually he started to actually make his own remixes. Of course they were terrible at first but after two years on studying music on his own and practicing he was confident enough to apply for the music academy. He was declined.
After the failure the boy was vivid. He didn’t give up for a second and kept making remix after remix. It wasn’t until two months later when he realized he should be preforming his remixes and get feedback. After making countless lies and pulling several strings the male got his first gig at a club in the next town over. That very night Fumioto found his love for preforming. People danced to his music and he was praised for his remixes and how outgoing he was on stage. There were also the people who requested him mixing other songs which only pumped him up more. He really did feel like a natural born performer.
A year after being denied from the music academy Fumi sent in his most recent CD to the school and was finally accepted. It wasn’t hard moving across the country to a place he had never been. He was happy to get away from home and start fresh. He would rise above his scum family and become a famous disc jockey at the academy and there would be nothing stopping him.
Currently the boy lives in the dorms. His family doesn’t help out with expensive what so ever so he took up a job at the local café. He study’s music theory mostly and now that he’s eighteen he can legally play at clubs in local cities.
